I recently was going through some old files of pictures and came across a couple that I forgot taking at Good Harbor Beach. I posted them down below. Hoping to get out over the next couple of swells and take some more photos and hopefully some video to get some new stuff coming out of the Stranded Dog doghouse. I am hoping to get a good little winter segment section going on this year, videos, photos, who knows what else. Trying to get a list together so I can meet people at their spots to get them some good pictures. If you want to be one of those people then send me a note....here. Oh and I think that might be me over there to the left in the strip.... Someone else was behind the len SO tonight I went for a paddle with my buddy Brian into the night since the surf was flat. It was a super fun paddle with great colors as the sun went down. Thinking about maybe doing it again tomorrow night or might head out early on Thursday. Something about being out on the water is soo calming.... Makes me never want to hit dry land again. So I have been reading this book for like almost 3 years now. MP: The life of Michael Peterson by Sean Doherty. I am not a reader so it was easy for me to misplace it over the years. With a recent restructuring of the life to make things more surf less stress I have started reading it again. It is a great book. Look for a full review of it later.
Moved this here from the old home pageHurricane Earl is upon us, or will be later this week. Check out http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ to track the up coming storms. Remember Mother Ocean is the boss, play it safe and don't become a Coast Guard statistic. Look for me traveling the coast looking for you guys out in the lineup taking pictures. So I am watching 180° South, eating lunch and waiting to head to work. But more importantly I am keep an eye on the storms in the Atlantic. Look out for photos to come of Hurricane Earl, with Fiona and Gaston hopefully bringing some waves forward for us to play with....
So after three days of surfing til exhaustion, I come home to find that there is pizza waiting for me. Made the end of the day little better. Now doing some prioritizing for the late start to the day. Look back to see the next project that will be coming from the Stranded Dog...
