Dir. Jason Baffa, 2004
Let us take a new concept into mind. Rather than follow a surfer or group of surfers around the globe to beautiful surf destinations, lets follow the board instead. Take this board-centric style throw in an amazing soundtrack, and you have Singlefin: Yellow.
What has become a flat-spell regular in the DVD, began as a board made by Tyler Hatzikian, shipped to friends and followed as the main character. Starting it journey with Tyler it finds itself in Oz with Beau Young, Japan with David Kenoshita, Cali with Daizie Shayne and Devon Howard. Howard also travels to Mexico and Hawaii with it where he leaves it with Bonga Perkins who enjoys it in the crystal Hawaiian waters.
Following Yellow around the globe has a nice romantic aspect, of a hand-shaped functional piece of art. It is a beautiful board, beautiful film, and most importantly a beautiful story.
